MRC is participating in the creation of the impact investing chair at ENSAE Paris, aimed at adressing the topic of measuring the impact of investment strategies in listed assets through both theoretical and empirical analysis. This partnership has already resulted in a paper, "The Biodiversity Premium", quantifying biodiversity in the context of asset evaluation.

MRC is working with the Sustainable Investment Research Initiative (SIRI) at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affaires (SIPA) to create a research initiative aimed at adressing the rise of private financing to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through both theoretical and empirical analysis, as well as creating a dialogue space among various stakeholders. Two papers have been produced as part of this partnerships: "Biodiversity Finance" and "Blended Finance."

A CIFRE thesis is being conducted at the CRG-i3 laboratory (Ecole Polytechnique) and at MRC, aiming to develop indicators to address social impact and just transition issues, thereby strenghtening Mirova's investment strategies.
