In March 2025, MRC formalized a three-year co-financing agreement (2026–2028) with the Observatoire des Énergies Renouvelables et de la Biodiversité to support research projects aligned with the Observatoire’s scientific missions.
The Observatoire des Énergies Renouvelables et de la Biodiversité is a national platform created to monitor, consolidate, and advance scientific knowledge on the interactions between renewable energy deployment and biodiversity, soils, and landscapes in France. Its work is organized around three core missions: mapping the state of knowledge on the impacts of renewable energy and potential remediation solutions; conducting targeted collective scientific assessments and studies; and disseminating knowledge and supporting sectoral actors through a national resource center.
The Observatoire’s supervisory bodies are responsible for selecting research projects based on identified sectoral needs, ensuring scientific excellence, and overseeing operational project management. MRC’s co-financing is specifically directed toward projects falling within the first two of these missions — knowledge synthesis and targeted scientific assessment

This project aims to produce a practical guide for developers, structured as a series of technical fact sheets, grounded in a comprehensive review of the current scientific evidence on solar park eco-design
This project assesses the impact of aerial turbulence generated in the wake of onshore wind turbines on bat activity, and develops specifications for a tool capable of quantifying habitats exposed to these impacts.
